Case card settings

In the settings of the case card, you can set a specific rate to be used for a particular case, so that it is used instead of the rate that is set in the general section of the Billing settings. You can also specify the budget of the case, clients and users to whom the case is available in the case card settings.

Choosing a rate for a case

You can specify the rate of any particular case.

  1. Open the case file.
  2. Go to the SETTINGS tab in the panel menu above.
  3. In the Billing type block, click on the field with the rate and select the desired option.
  4. Click the Save button in the lower right corner of the page.

Case budget settings

You can set a budget in a case, as well as set up notifications to notify you when you get close to or reach that limit. Once the total costs exceed the budget of the case, the client will receive a message to their email address.

  1. Open the case file.
  2. Go to the SETTINGS section.
  3. In the Budget box, tick the Case has a budget line.
  4. Specify the budget amount.
  5. Click on the Expenses field and select the function: enable or disable.
  6. If you want to enable notifications, check the Notify the users when costs reach this budget limit box and specify the clients who you want to receive the notifications.
  7. Click the Save button in the lower right corner of the page.
