Creating and customizing the calendar

Using the CALENDAR section, you can create and configure calendars or smart calendars, based on various parameters or filters.

By default, the system contains three calendars:

Firm - general events of the company, available to all users.

My calendar - events available to you.

Tasks - all the tasks that are available to you in the system.

You can also create your own calendars. When creating an event, just specify which calendar to add this event to. In absence of a specific calendar selection, all events are automatically saved to the Firm Calendar.

One of the most exciting features that Case.one has is the ability to create Smart calendars. Smart Calendars are calendars that contain filters customized to you or your firm’s needs. These filters could include anything from a hearing calendar, to a department calendar, a task calendar, or event a team calendar. In them, you can independently configure the displayed types of events, cases, as well as add other calendars and users.

Creating a Standard calendar

  1. From the main navigation menu on the left click on CALENDAR.  
  2. On the left sidebar, click the + button in the Calendars line.
  3. Enter the name of the calendar and select its color.
  4. If necessary, add a description.
  5. Click the Add button to save.

Creating a smart calendar

  1. From the main navigation menu on the left click on CALENDAR.  
  2. On the left sidebar, click on the + button in the Smart Calendars line.
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • calendar name,
    • calendars displayed in it,
  4. Fill out the extra fields:
    • Select the types of events displayed,
    • Indicate the cases to be displayed in the calendar,
    • add users,
  5. add a short description of the calendar if necessary.
  6. Click the Add button to save.
