Tasks

Creating a task

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. In the bottom right corner click the + button.
  3. Fill in the required fields and click the Add button.

You may also create a task from any page in Case.one by simply typing the letter "T" on your keyboard. This shortcut is called a "hot key" in Case.one.

Assigning a task to someone or a group of users

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Click on the task name you want to assign the performer to.
  3. Click in the Assignee field and select from the list or enter the value manually.
  4. Click the Save button.

Specifying task priority

Priority of the task is needed for the assignee to see the urgency of the task.

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Click on the name of the task you want to prioritize.
  3. In the Priority field, select the desired priority (urgent, neutral, optional).
  4. Click the Save button.

Adding files to a task

You can upload files in each task (documents, images, etc.). Thus, in the task you can store the documents necessary for its execution, which can be downloaded and used at any time.

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Open the task or create a new one.
  3. Click the Add file button.
  4. The selected files will be uploaded to the task.
  5. Near each file there are Download and Delete buttons. This allows you to store only the most current documents in the task.
  6. After the files have been uploaded, click the Save button.

Specifying task status

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Click on the task name you want to specify the status for.
  3. In the Status field, select the desired status (Pending, In Progress, or Completed).
  4. Click the Save button.

How to add a subtask

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Click on the task name in which you want to add the subtask.
  3. Click the "•••" button and select Add subtask.
  4. Fill in the required fields and click the Save button.
  5. To save the subtask, click on the Save button again to group the main and subtask.

Editing a task

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Click on the name of the task you want to edit.
  3. Change the required fields and click the Save button.

Deleting a task

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. In the task list, click the "•••" button next to the task you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion by clicking Yes, delete.

Filtering tasks

Use the filters to quickly and easily find the task you need.

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the TASKS tab.
  2. Set filers to search for the required task.
  3. To quickly clean the filter, click the Reset button

Note: the filters you specify are saved in the case card.
