Setting up automatic access to cases, projects and folders for a group

After creating a group, the user with administrator rights can configure its participants access to cases, projects and folders.

Automatic access to the cases.

  1. From the main navigation menu on the left, click on ADMINISTRATION.  
  2. On the left sidebar, click the GROUPS item.
  3. Click on the row with the name of the group of interest.
  4. In the Automatic access to cases Choose an access level: only view, commenting, editing, administration.
  5. Check the box for the attributes of the cases: type, creator, assignee.
  6. Specify the values for each of the attributes.
  7. In the Fields in Blocks line, specify the fields available to the group and their values.
  8. To delete the added fields, click the Trash icon at the end of the line.

Automatic access to projects.

  1. From the main navigation menu on the left click on ADMINISTRATION.  
  2. left sidebar, select the GROUPS section.
  3. Click on the row with the name of the group of interest.
  4. In the Automatic access to projects block select the access level: only View, commenting, editing, administration.
  5. Tick the case attribute Author.
  6. Specify the values for each of the attributes: from the drop- down list, select the last names of the users.

Automatic access to folders.

  1. From the main navigation menu on the left click on ADMINISTRATION.  
  2. In the left sidebar, select the GROUPS section.
  3. Click the row with the name of the groups of interest.
  4. In the Automatic access to folders block select the access level: only View, commenting, editing, administration.
  5. Tick the case attribute Author.
  6. Specify the values for each of the attributes: from the drop-down list, select the last names of the users.
