Participants

In every case there are participants in the process. These are individuals or legal entities. On the "Participants" page, you can see who is a participant in the case, add a new participant or delete an existing one. If you have several identical participants in the case, you can merge them into one card.

Adding a person

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. In the bottom right corner click the + button.
  3. Select Person.
  4. Fill in the required fields and click the Add button.add_person.gif

Adding a company

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. In the bottom right corner click the + button.
  3. Select Company.
  4. Fill in the required fields and click the Add button.

Merging of participants

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. In the list, select the participants that you want to merge into one card.
  3. Click on the "•••" icon in the upper right corner of the page and select Merge.
  4. Choose form the list of the participant whose card you want to transfer the information on the participation in the cases, and click the Merge button.
  5. Information from all the mentioned cards will be saved in the card of the selected participant. The remaining participants will be deleted.

Editing a participant card

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. Press the button "•••" near the participant whose card you want to edit.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Make the necessary changes and click the Save button.

Excluding a participant from a case

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. Click the "•••" button next to the participant you want to exclude.
  3. Click the Remove from the Case button.
  4. Confirm the participant's exclusion by clicking the Remove from the case.

Deleting a participant card

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. Press the button "•••" near the participant whose card you want to delete.
  3. Click the Delete button.
  4. Confirm the deletion of the participant by clicking Yes, delete.

Searching and filtering participants

There may be a large number of participants in the case. To find a participant you want quicker, use the search feature or the participant filter.

  1. In the top menu panel of a case, select the PARTICIPANTS tab.
  2. Install the participant filter:
    • type (person or company),
    • type of participation (plaintiff, defendant, other person or other roles).
  3. If you want to quickly clean the filter, click the Reset button.
  4. To use the contextual search, click on the magnifying glass and enter the value you need.

 Note: that all the filters you specify are saved in the case card.
